GMTV’s decision to repeat first series boosts national product launch.
Spin Master said the broadcaster’s move to re screen the first series of Storm Hawks, after it generated “impressive” viewing figures, will increase demand of its licensed product range.
Currently broadcasted on Cartoon Network, GMTV will also screen the boys’ action series on its Action Stations Monday to Friday.
The firm said its Storm Hawks line has already enjoyed a good start in Toys R Us, and that retailer demand nation wide is strong.
Stuart Picton, marketing manager, said: “We are delighted with this great news which demonstrates the popularity of Storm Hawks with our target consumers and is a timely boost for the national toy launch.”
The product range includes action figures, transforming vehicles, role-play swords and the Condor Battle Cruiser.
