Hasbro has reacquired the rights to nearly 1,000 episodes of TV programmes featuring its brands.
The shows, including G.I. Joe, Transformers and My Little Pony, are part of the Sunbow Library of Hasbro Classics programming.
Hasbro bought back worldwide distribution rights for the library from brand-management company TV-Loonland.
Financial terms were undisclosed.
The acquisition increases Hasbro's content library to nearly 2,000 episodes of programmes covering 30 brands.
The firm has been focusing on expanding its traditional toy brands into entertainment, publishing, promotions and digital arenas.
