Body back with new start-up

Former Leapfrog UK MD Richard Body has set up a new manufacturing and distribution company alongside Leapfrog’s former operations director, Vanessa Parsooramen.
Bodyline International offers sales, both internationally and domestically, manufacture and delivery and is currently approaching brand owners for business.
The firm already has distribution deals in the UK for US-based scooter line Nextsport and for new brand, Vivo World. It is also developing its own range of girl’s jewellery under the brand name Groovy UV, which changes colour instantly in sunlight.
Body (pictured) explained: “I was at a crossroads. There was no need to extend myself beyond my role handling international markets for Leapfrog, but all of a sudden we were presented with product ranges that were simply too hard to resist.
There is no doubt that the market is going to be talking a lot about Groovy UV and I encourage everyone to come and take a look.
"Coupled with my continuing international relationship with Leapfrog we are also very proud to be representing two revolutionary ranges in Nextsport and Vivo. As far as Bodyline is concerned, myself and Vanessa have made a cracking start and our offer to help our clients with sales and logistics is much valued. Let’s face it what’s the point of great sales numbers if you can’t get it delivered on time. We can’t wait for 2007 to start.”
