New range of Dr Who figures to arrive from spring 2008.
BBC Worldwide and Character Options will be launching a new collection of classic Doctor Who figures from next spring.
The five-inch figures will initially include detailed replicas of classic Doctors, plus a number of monsters.
As master toy licensee, Character has enjoyed massive success through its Doctor Who range of products - picking up a number of awards - and is, unsurprisingly, expecting a positive response to this new line.
Jon Diver, joint managing director of Character Group, said: "The resounding success of the Doctor Who TV series is made up of both new and existing fans. We have reacted to public demand and will be producing a range to the depth and quality of our existing line.
"The classic licence will broaden the collectibility and enhance the position of the brand," Diver continued.
