Logistics specialist Trilogy is continuing to make inroads into the toy market, with IMC becoming the latest firm to sign up to use its services.
The announcement follows the recent signing of Corinthian, with further deals also in the pipeline.
IMC Toys UK was established in the UK in September 2004 and is a subsidiary of IMC Toys Spain. IMC Toys Spain is a top five toy company within its own market and is now well established within the UK market. IMC boasts licensed ranges that include Power Rangers, Spiderman, Toy Story, Simpsons, James Bond, Barbie, Barbie Fairytopia, Disney Princess, Shrek 3 and Winnie the Pooh.
Paul Oughton, trading director of Trilogy, commented: “The toy market is one of our big priorities for 2007 and we are in discussions with some great companies.
IMC is a great addition to our expanding portfolio in the toy sector and demonstrates the growing interest in what we have to offer.”
Jon Gregory, managing director of IMC, added: “We view Trilogy as a young and forward thinking business like ourselves, we therefore wanted a partner with a similar passion for service to our industry. At IMC we have a fantastic product range and have great retail support, we have a clear strategy for the next five years and we know that Trilogy will be able to meet our growing demands."
