Drumond takes on Toy Brokers
Ronnie Dungan Sep 3 2007, 2:30pm
Toy Brokers has joined the Drumond Park Group.
The existing Toy Brokers team, led by Gary Brennan (MD) and Matthew Colbert (FD), will continue to run the business, with the added financial and marketing strength of DPL to promote faster growth and the development of strong new TV-led toy lines.
With the retirement of Peter Brennan, strategic control of Toy Brokers will pass to Group joint CEOs Claire McCool and Sandy Duncan.
Says Claire McCool: “Toy Brokers is an efficient, well-run business. The TB team has shown the same dedication to the development of strong licenses and branded products as DPL. Whilst DPL knows games and John Adams specialises in craft and science, Toy Brokers brings a wealth of experience in toy and outdoor lines to the Group.
“We believe that the experience gained from DPL’s long history of successful TV advertising will help Toy Brokers to win and develop ever bigger properties and maximise the value of their existing high-profile brands.”
