New opening for Byrne's

Enniscorthy-based retailer Byrne's has opened its 20th store in Clonard Retail Park, Wexford.
The 15,000sq ft megastore caters to children of all ages with a range of toys, books, stationery, games, multimedia, pre-school and nursery ranges available from all the leading brands.
Byrne’s Bookstore & World of Wonder is one of Ireland’s leading retailers of toys, books, multimedia and stationery.
The new megastore is the 20th store in the chain since the original Byrne’s Bookshop was opened in Enniscorthy 31 years ago. Since then Byrne’s have opened stores right throughout the Leinster and Munster areas.
Byrne first came to Wexford in 1994 when he opened his second store on the site of the former Jenkins Department store on the town's North Main Street.
The store has since been extended on a number of occasions but Byrne feels that space and parking restrictions mean that a second outlet in a retail park location was essential.
“We feel a retail park store is a necessary complement to our store on Main Street," he said. "The new store will allow us to stock a much wider range of outdoor products with a larger display area to show our customers our full range. We will also have much larger nursery department with all of the leading brands. We will have hundreds of car parking spaces as well as order collection points and a delivery service.”
