With the high volume of merchandise and the expectations that come with products that carry the Disney name, it’s vital that everything we licence is of the very highest quality when it comes to safety and compliance. This means that from intensive lab testing, through to common sense health and safety issues - everything must be checked and double checked, carry the appropriate reviews and documentation before it reaches the shelves.
So for talented individuals who possess a background in electrical, chemical, product safety and testing and preferably some experience of children's products, this is a unique and far-reaching opportunity.
You will be the key person within our UK operations who will have first line responsibility for all our licensed products, rating our suppliers, ensuring that nothing escapes your eye for detail and professional integrity.
Programmes will be established; new documentation formulated and enhanced structures put in place to ensure that our products carry the highest levels of compliance and surety.
You’ll liaise with a considerable number of line managers, our USA team and travel throughout the EU so good communication skills, a technical approach to problem-solving and a firm, thorough approach to suppliers is required.
