ToyNews has signed up with news aggregation service Digg, to greatly increase the traffic to its online service.
All ToyNews stories now include a Digg button, which will allow readers to forward the story to the Digg news aggregator. Clicking on the Digg button increases the visibility of the story within the site and will bring it to the attention of potentially thousands of new readers.
"News aggregators such as Digg can create a massive amount of traffic for the site and will bring stories to a huge number of eyeballs," said Editor Ronnie Dungan.
"We will continue to add functions like this to our online service, bringing increased value to advertisers and readers alike."
