New 'open invite' format provides much needed positivity for trade.
This year's Toymaster show has now closed but it's new open invite format has generally been deemed a success by exhibitors and attendees.
For the first time in its 25-year history it opened its doors to non-members this year and most exhibitors welcomed the move as it lead to an increase in stand traffic throughout the three day show.
Meanwhile, Toymaster's director of finance, Colin Farrow, received a Golden Teddy award, for services to the toy industry at the show's evening entertainment event.
A full report on the show will appear in the next edition of ToyNews.
