UGOBE: Marketing support added for Pleo

Erstwhile Vivid marketing manager Nat Southworth has been appointed to represent Ugobe’s marketing activities across Europe.
Southworth has set up a new consultancy called Added Smile and will be specifically charged with handling marketing for the firm's Pleo robotic dinosaur pet, which continues to be distributed by Vivid.
"We wanted to enhance our support for both retail customers and distributors across Europe. Working with Nat gives Ugobe and our partners a point of contact in the territory who can make things happen," said Martin Hitch, Ugobe’s VP of sales.
"I am delighted to be working with Ugobe to promote Pleo and establish companion robotics as a category", said Southworth. "Ugobe are leading the way with product development and 2008 is their break through year."
