Schleich branches out into publishing

Company will launch story book to complement its World of Elves collection.
The book entitled; "Bayala – The Daughters of the Elf King" is a 220 page story book in 22 chapters, illustrated with the many elves on horseback that have become so popular with collectors of all ages.
The new book is designed to display either within the Schleich display units, on counter tops or within the books section of a store.
Gary Wilmot, national sales manager for Schleich UK said: “This new book has been created in direct response to requests from the consumer.
It is also the ideal opportunity to increase awareness of this part of the Schleich product range and will surely encourage sales.”
The book has been published in time for Christmas and will be in the shops from mid September.
