Games and puzzles company launches new store in Conways, West Yorkshire.

The 'shop within a shop' concept was recently launched at Conway's Keighley branch with a day of games, competitions and puzzles.

The firm plans to create a number of the stores across the country.

The launch day at Conways attracted interest from consumers and resulted in a busy day of trading for the store.

Shoppers were able to have their caricature drawn by Ravensburger puzzle artist, William Rudling. The company also held a prize draw and local radio and newspaper competitions to raise awareness.

Tim Hall, Ravensburger managing director said: “The Specialist Stores initiative is aimed at toy retailers who are particularly committed to the Ravensburger range and want to extend their offering.

"Stores, like Conways, who are awarded Specialist Store status will receive a range of distinctive point of sale material, together with advice and support from us, to build a Ravensburger ‘shop within a shop’.”

Steve Hodge, Conways’ manager said: “We were really busy and there was a real buzz around the shop.  I was especially pleased that we had people trying different types of products  - so extending their usual purchasing habits.”

Toy stores that are interested in finding out more should contact their usual Ravensburger representative.
