Model indie goes online

One of the UK's largest indie model retailers has launched a new online store.
Wonderland Models’ new site, www.Wonderlandmodels.com
will allow customers to browse and purchase thousands of products online, ranging from Hornby Trains, Scalexric sets and Meccano models to dolls houses, diecast models, radio control cars, helicopters and planes and plastic and wooden model kits.
Created by internet marketing specialist, Occupancy Marketing, a comprehensive and tailored-made online marketing strategy will focus on increasing online visibility, attracting new customers and generating sales from the new online store.
Working with Wonderland Models’ web developer, Mercurytide, Occupancy Marketing’s structured online marketing programme will focus on key areas including, organic search engine optimisation, website analytics and utilising online services such as Google Shopping, to maximise the new online stores’ web presence.
Preparation of the website for the busy Christmas period to drive sales through e-commerce shopping, will also be a core objective.
